Adieu

A day like all my yesterdays but nothing is the same.
Feel mighty damn fine splendid though I’ve one foot in the grave.
The person whom I used to be, is not who I am now.
The doors which opened, as one shut, beckon me clear and loud.

Don’t wait for me to turn ’round, I’m leavin’ all this shit behind,
yeah thanks a lot and kiss me, but it’s time to say goodbye.

I’ve spent too many days and nights watchin’ my life grow stale.
I owe myself some action, grab some tigers by the tail.

Don’t wait for me to turn ’round, I’m leavin’ all this shit behind,
all your hate and all your hassle: Fuck you too and hope you die!

Tell the few fine souls I knew whom I considered friends:
I’ll wait for you in Hell, where we’ll drink till the worlds end!

(I’ve) no idea where I’m headin’, to-tell the truth I don’t care less.
We all, sooner or later, end up in the selfsame place.
That’s when I’ll pay my debts off, but till then run up the tab,
‘cos there’s nothing we’ll be taking when we feel Death’s shoulder tap.

No need for tears and sorrow, I’ve no fear of the unknown.
Though I never caught religion, the Creator’s in my bones.

yeah thanks a lot and adieu but it’s time to say goodbye.
but thanks a lot and adieu ‘cos it’s time to say goodbye.
but thanks a lot and adieu for the laughs and the good times.
all your hate and all your hassle: Fuck you too and fuck you thrice!
