The inspiration for this song surprisingly, and handily, came to me as I approached my car after I’d finished some sport activity, and was able to snatch pen and paper and note the first lines, which turned out to be the chorus and start of the song.
The verses were added after the choruses were completed, and unused, foot related, sayings were incorporated into a chorus fade out.
The song (with an underlying foot fetish tone) makes heavy use of foot related sayings, but otherwise has pretty basic lyrics. The following notes for the unfamiliar;
heel and toe – an expression for walk. (CHAMBERS: with a strict walking pace, as opposed to running). More commonly, but not applicable to the song, the phrase describes a style of automotive sport (esp. rally driving) pedal use.
she’s got glorious soles – a statement which (heavily) hints at the sexual nature to be discovered in the lyrics of the whole song. In the end (see DISCARDs) I settled on the coarse slang for both vagina and ars’ole – (hole) – ‘ole. The s at the end of the word glorious consumes the s of soles and can be construed to mean glorious ‘oles. Other suitable, s consuming, words are listed in the DISCARDs.
she’s my sole overkill (sole as only)
She can heal my desires (heel)

What a sexy treat – amoral sonar sole.
What a sexy treat – want it all-star sole.

What a sexy treat – need to feel her whole sole.
want to touch her whole sole – stolen from the SEX PISTOLS’ use of the words “whole soul” (No One Is Innocent) which, when pronounced in Ronnie Biggs’ London accent can be twisted to mean ‘ar soul (ars’ole = arsehole).
make contact with her soul
eye to eye with her soul
x x handle ‘er soul
got my eye on ‘er soul
