Breakin’ The Seal

Some men have dark secrets hidden away,
and tight lips are sealed, come what may.
But don’t forget every man has his price,
A broken word seals your fate in a trice.

They’re just driven by nature, by the pressure they feel.
Going to blow the whistle, gonna betray and squeal.

Breakin’ the seal. Breakin’ the seal.
Breakin’ the seal. Breakin’ the seal.
Breakin’ the seal. Breakin’ the seal.
One man’s scream (also as in joke) is another man’s squeal – breakin’ the seal.

Paint-the-town-red line pressure, had one over the eight.
(Feels like) the dam wall’s pressin’ on a sealed sluice gate.
Full-to-the-gunwhales-with-a molten, golden load. (gunwhale pron. gunnel)
And once it’s out, it’s just outta control.

But you’re driven by nature, by the pressure you feel.
So going to go with the flow, gonna let off some steam.

CHORUS
For the first time tonight you’re – breakin’ the seal.

Well you’re holding it (firmly) in your hand.
The stuff of fancy; myth; of coarse legend.
Your rod of wrath. A staff of life.
Your wicked weapon. Your bowie knife.

But you’re driven by nature, by the pressure you feel.
So going to go it alone, gonna whip up some cream. / let off for real.

CHORUS
Feels good and right when you’re – breakin’ the seal.
Feels good and right when she’s – breakin’ the seal with a kiss.
