Eat, sleep, work ‘n’ football/soccer, twenty-four hours a day.
No time to spit or fritter, no coin to save away.
Too busy livin’ daily, makin’ short ends meet,
slaves to the Old Lady on Threadneedle street.
See the innocence of the newborn, hear the silence of black lambs,
Led off to bloody slaughter, sacrificial/votive:
Cohorts: of the damned.
Raised in first world hardship, drownin’ in paper debt,
keepin’ up with the Jones’s, the fabled, famed jet-set.
Sold your soul for shekels, raised children to wage wars,
in lands where peace prevailed, now pus filled open sores.
Sapient from misinformation, worse than dumb farm animals,
convinced you’ve got it good, as they milk your taxables.
Cheerin’ coloured revolution, war’s democratic bloodstain.
Twelve years for home dissenters who dared question, must now pay.

Cheerin’ on revolution, democracy with war’s bloodstain.
Eat, sleep, work ‘n’ fam’ly, twenty-four hours a day.
Clever with misinformation, worse than dumb farm animals,
Kept stupid and misinformed, like dumb farm animals,
12 years for home dissenters, who dare question Empire reign.
12 years for home dissenters who dared question, reap princely pain.
