I found some old photos of you – just yesterday.
The one where you are swimming – on our holiday.
You looked picture perfect – in your bikini.
Got me thinkin’ ’bout us baby – you took my breath away!
And I can’t believe I never told you then, you were really hot.
And now all that I am left with, are fading snapshots.
So if you can hear me, where ever you are, I’d just like to say;
Baby you were right – about breaking up with me.
Baby you were right – I-di’n’t deserve you anyway.
Baby you were right – about goin’ your own way.
Baby you were right.
But thanks for the memory!
I met your old bestfriend by chance – while out and about.
Our talk got around to you – you’ve settled down?
You never seemed the sort – when you were with me.
But thinkin’ ’bout it baby – (I’m) just glad you’re happy.
But I can’t believe I never asked you then, if you’d be mine.
I guess I thought we’d stay together – a life-time.
I found an old love-letter of yours – while cleaning out.
So I took some time to read it – what was it about?
You wrote how happy you were – you’d always love me.
Couldn’t stop myself from crying – you broke my heart again.
And I can’t believe I never told you then, that I love you.
I guess I just took you for granted – what a young fool!

I guess I thought we’d stay together – my little concubine.
